Ullahau - The Light Dunes
ISLE OF LIME ULLAHAU
In the most northern part of the island Gotland, you’ll find the sand dunes of Ullahau on Fårö. An almost desert-like landscape in the middle of the woods. For centuries, the light sand moved with the winds, covering larger parts of the forest. Today, bushes and dense vegetation keep the sand from moving and protect the rare orchids and wildlife Ullahau has become known for, such as the peculiar antlions.
This fourth edition of Isle of Lime, much like the sand dunes it’s named after, is also light and smooth. A mild malt whisky stored and matured in sherry and bourbon barrels giving it a unique character and a light smokiness.
